We should thank Bernanke and Paulson and President Bush and President Obama and Tim Geithner for doing a lot of things that helped us get out of what could’ve been a terrible, terrible mess. It was a mess. But we really were right at the abyss and we had—we had a government that did the right things. Maybe they did some wrong things earlier, maybe they didn’t do it perfectly. But I give them great credit and this country’s best days lie ahead, believe me.
